As part of Life Time’s ongoing evolution of its athletic event portfolio, we have news regarding the future of the Coldwater Trail MTB + Run.

Coldwater Trail MTB and Run was born in collaboration with the town of Anniston, Alabama, Calhoun County, and its many devoted community partners — mainly NEABA: Northeast Alabama Bicycle Association. Together, we shared a goal of showcasing the world-class trails and welcoming community.

And as we move forward, Life Time is pleased to transition Coldwater Trail to the community of Anniston. Starting in 2026, NEABA will be the owner and organizer of the Coldwater Trail, and the event will no longer be part of the Life Time athletic event portfolio.

We are incredibly proud of the inaugural event in 2025 and know it will be in great hands under the ownership of NEABA. They’ve been an exceptional partner to us, and a pillar in their community.

We are deeply grateful to the athletes, partners, volunteers, and local community who have been integral to bringing Coldwater Trail to life. Please stay tuned for upcoming communications from NEABA as they work toward launching the 2026 Coldwater Trail.
